I have recently put together a simple telnet client for accessing the
DXCluster over the Internet. It is called MacClusterClient and is now
available as beta software for both Mac OS X and OS 8/9.
It is still in beta, and it will expire on June 1st.
If there is sufficient interest I may release a final version as very low
cost shareware.
There are some neat features in the software - It will calculate the
distance and bearing between you and the DX if you enter the locator of the
DX and then put the locators and distance in the DX spot for you
automatically.
I plan to add DX speech announcements soon also.
Anyway, perhaps you would like to download it and give it a try. Please let
me know how it goes if you do try it.
You can download MCC or MCCX it from:
http://homepage.mac.com/gm4jjj/FileSharing4.html
MCCbeta1.sit is the PPC ONLY version (OS8 & 9)
MCCXbeta1.sit is the OS X ONLY version.
