[Ham-Mac] OSX APRS

Hey, all.
Is anyone running APRS on an OSX machine?  I had been futzing with 
MacAPRS on an old powerbook 180C, but had all sorts of difficulties 
related to hardware.  I've pretty well decided I'm going to go ahead 
and run APRS on my iBook, even though it is my primary machine (and 
of more value...) and thus I won't be able to just leave it in the 
car.

Question is, what software seems best for APRS in OSX?  I really hate 
dealing with classic, and have weeded out most of my classic apps, 
but AFAIK, there's not a cocoa or carbon version of MacAPRS.  Should 
I try Xastir?  I've heard it runs well on OSX, but only 4th hand.  Is 
there someplace I can get Xastir already compiled for OSX?  Any other 
options?
