[Ham-Mac] Blind MacAPRS

Hi,

I am using MacAPRS 68K 3.4.2 with Europe maps I got on the internet 
(don't remember where)!

Modem is a german TNC2m from IFD with TF2.7b firmware from NordLink 
(Germany) running inside.

So I first configure the modem with my call and set it to unproto with 
ZTerm. This terminal program always receives the APRS frames properly.
Then I restart the Mac and load MacAPRS.
A friend of mine told me that my frames have been heard at his location 
(40 miles away)

BUT

I don't have any icon appearing on my screen except my station. What did 
I wrong ?
Am I really to exchange the firmware EPROM (e.g. for a TAPR one?)
Or is it a MacAPRS setting problem ?
