[Ham-Mac] PowerBook "M" Family codes

I have a PowerBook G3 and am wondering if anyone knows how to tell what
"Family Code" it belongs to?  Needed due to some hardware being listed and
compatible with PoerBook "family codes" and I can't find anything. The
codes listed all start with "M" and are followed by a 4 digit number.
Nothing similar found in the serial number or any other labels that I can
see.

Any help appreciated!
