[Ham-Mac] Airport

I have an ASUS AAM6030VI Wireless ADSL Router.
The 802.11b on the router has a few settings that can be altered.
Anyone know if the defaults are OK for Airport or if they can be optimised.
The settings are: 

1. Fragmentation Threshold (2346)
2. RTS THRESHOLD (2432)

It is working fine (with 128 bit WEP) on Internet.
AppleTalk and IP Filesharing  is terribly slow compared to Computer to
Computer Airport.
