Perhaps I am missing something here....but the few OSX files that I
distribute, I've stuffed and binhexed with StuffIt, yielding a
FileName.sit.hqx file. I've had no problem downloading these under OSX at
all, and it works under OSX and OS8/9. I'm not opposed to distribution
through .dmg files, but why should I do it that way? Is there a problem
with the stuffit format, or an inherent advantage to using a .dmg file???
