Hi Patrick,
I'm currently starting to implement MacAPRS 3.4.0 on a 68K Centris 650
under MacOS7.1. Dear, what a speedy system: needs around 5 seconds to
load, and occupies 2.5 Mb in RAM!
Now, like you I've been looking for another program. But MacAPRS seems to
be the only one available. And 3.5.2 is the most recent version. As for
MacOS X, I'm sorry : no info.
I got a set of European maps useable with MacAPRS, but don't remember
where. There are 7 ziped files EUROPE_x.zip (where x=3DM..T) (2 to 7 Mb) in=
a folder named "Maps Europe" (total is 34.5 Mb). If you can't find them
yourself on the net, it's not a problem for me to send them to you,
assuming your provider accepts such big files as attachement in a mail.
The other problem with these maps is that they are not really in
sequence, so you have to open almost all (according to Murphy's law)
until you find the right one! :-(
