When I was setting up my PowerBook to use the Keyspan PDA adapter with VPC for radio control with a Windows logging program, I talked to Keyspan Tech Support and they told me to NOT install the Windows drivers but use the Mac drivers for the adapter and just tell Windows that it was a COMM port.
I've been using it this way and it works like a charm. The Windows logging program thinks it's controlling the radio through a serial port at COMM 1 and the DB-9 connector on the PDA does just fine as a PC serial port connector...:-)
It's not the same application, I know, but perhaps this information will be helpful.
