[Ham-Mac] Are you running OSX on your Mac ?

I have been following this thread with a lot of interest in trying to 
find out if upgrade to OSX is really going to work on older machines. 
I run a 9500 with Sonnet G3 processor and OS8.6, 128 meg of ram. In 
trying to run OSX, do I need to upgrade to a G4 processor and add 
more ram and even then, without the access to higher bus speeds and 
lack of Velocity Engine, am I going to gain any real advantage. As I 
am a graphic designer by profession, most of the programs that I am 
running have not been upgraded to OSX any way. I know that is just a 
matter of time, but should I really consider biting the bullet and 
just get a new machine.
