    As I recall you need a Power PC for anything greater then OS 7.6.1.  OS 
8.6 is the latest OS8 system which I use on the Performa 6360.  You need a G3 
or G4 for OS 9.2 but pretty sure the lower versions of OS 9 for all power PC 
but would recommend at least 128 MB for OS 9 and 64 MB ram for OS 8.
    I just ordered another 64 MB ($33 w/shipping, 130 MB total soon) for the 
6360 so will upgrade to OS 9 here.  I have the 6360 on DSL Router with Imac 
G4 800, windows laptop and it is fine for most programs.  With DSL works nice 
on Internet.
