Dino, you may want to try increasing the volume of the audio going into
the Mac (or use the gain adjustment slider in MM). Also try giving MM 
more memory (assuming you're running MacOS9 version) it is possible that
it doesn't have enough, so it is defaulting to a lower pixel depth for
the fax image resulting in less contrast. I'd try the increased audio
first.
