Been using various forms of Linux since Apple proved ridiculous
in the early 90's and Microsoft shortly thereafter.
I just downloaded and tested Andy's Ham Radio Linux v.14 iso.
It's a stripped-down version of ubuntu/debian loaded with
Ham apps.
It's a great way for Hams to test the waters of Linux in
Amateur Radio and a great tool to simply grab a box, boot
from CD/DVD, and be Hamming via Linux.
The only hassle I had was a tiny, documented, tweak to get
audio working on my Samsung NB30 Netbook.
Andy was very available and helpful when I had download questions
and the online support resource covers things well.
