I think as the economy continues to go down the toilet more people, not just
hams, are taking a different view of free open source software. Yet others
like me reached the point of no return in constant task of trying to keep up
with anti virus software and made the initial decision to switch rather than
fight. Here in the Pittsburgh area a very active group has developed doing
Narrow Band Emergency Messaging System paNBEMS and while it is a multi
platform program a good percentage of those are running Linux with FLDIGI
especially on netbooks.

I would say that unless the group is eating resources on QSL that could be
better used elsewhere or is taking time away from your activities I say let
it run. Someone new may stumble across it and either find it a fountain
head of information or become a fountain head of information for those
already here on the list. Your call.

The box said "Win98/2000/XP or better" so I installed Linux!
