My novice arrived in 1955, KN0CQA, my extra in 1958, and my BSEE in
1963. I went to work at Collins on the 821A-1 250 KW VOA transmitter
design. I used diode and relay logic in its controls.
You may tinker with computer hardware and software and Linux is a good
way to that, but I've had my fill and I want to tinker with many other
things, like microwave communications on SSB and CW.
