I looked at their pages on Source Forge, and I think it could be said 
that it is the beginnings of Echolink for Linux. Unfortunately, they 
have created a Fedora specific application instead of one that would 
work on any distribution. They have begun adding patches for others, and 
have some porting help available on their mailing list, but have a long 
way to go to make it universal.

The documents on SF don't include a list of transceivers it supports. 
Can I control my IC706 with it over a VPN from my children's' homes? The 
VPN already exists, I just need to know if this package will provide the 
rest of the tools I need.
