[Ham-Linux] error when loading Ubunto

Hi, When I try running the install program on the Ubunto(V6.06), I get 
an "unable to locate RSDP" error. Is there some work around on this or 
is it fatal? Ive tried downloading the new V7.04, but all of the servers 
seem to be located in either Asia or Africa, seem to be incredibly slow; 
Like <30K/sec, and Im on a DSL ISP. Thanks,   Steve DE WA1YKL
