Nope. Read his page, found it interesting...but think it is one of
those solutions looking for a problem to solve. I guess the fundamental
question is why would I want TCP/IP on my HF amateur radio?? I can get
TCP/IP four separate ways right now, and if anyone ever puts BPL in this
area, I will have five ways. I see it as a Mt Everest....it's there so
let's go climb it. There is no rational reason to do it except someone
wants to. Not trying to imply that everything I've done in my 63 yrs
has been totally rational and done for a good cause or the betterment of
mankind on the whole<G> I did a lot of things just because it felt like
a good thing to do at the time and tripped my switch ;-)
Ham radio is not about email or web surfing. It is about person to
person communications and PSK31 and MFSK16 do fantastic jobs of that at
1/100th and 1/10th the bandwidth.
