hello back in the eighties I use a software that ran in dos or windows 95 or
98 and would allow your computer to answer the phone so the person on the
other end could then connected to your packet system And use it just as if
they were sitting at your computer.    now there was a password setup that
you would have to enter in the hams call sign and password so not just
anybody could log on and use it and your packet system would also use their
call when it was being operated so I guess if that they did something wrong
you can trace it back to whoever was using it. I'll could try to remember
the name of the file or even send you a copy if I can still find a copy.
