This sounds more like a Samba issue than anything else.  I would suggest
joining the Samba Support list at samba@lists.samba.org for help.  One
word of caution...this list generates a staggering volume of mail.  You
may want to get off the list after getting what help you need as you can
easily get 100-150 emails a day from this list.  But there are a lot of
knowledgeable people on it who are familiar with all the M$ products.
