[Ham-Linux] Need help on installing ham packages

Ok friends...

This is my first mail to the list... and english is NOT my language... I
hope you understand me..

Well, I can tell you that to compile the .tar.gz package, you need to
'unzip' and 'untar' the package ---> then please READ the INSTALL file.
In it, you can learn how to compile the package... The most common is
Cd to the packageDIR and ...

$ ./configure

then

$ make all

and then , like root...
 
# make install

This is only a reminder... I hope you read the INSTALL and I hope next
time I can explain you something else. 
I'm using linux for 5 years ago and I'm a ham radio for 30 years... BUT
i don't speak english very well... sorry.
