[Ham-Linux] Help w/SegFault

Many thanks to those that assisted with the parsing
of the IP address of the local machine in order to
upload that data to a web page. The grepping worked
fine but I ran into some problems when specifying a
location for the file from within the IP-UP script.
I'll sort that out later :) At this point I can at
least enter a simple command and do it manually and
have it work just fine.

Need help with install of Slackware v7.0.
Hardware is; PR166 w/32mb, Samsung WN321620A
2.16gb IDE, Toshiba XM-6102B 24x CDROM.
HDD is part'd; hda1=1gb, hda2=1gb, hda3=160mb
hda1 is bootable, hda3 is swap
Attempting to install using bare.i and text.gz
While installing 'glibc' I get the following EMs.

Installing package glibc
Segmentation fault
Segmentation fault
INIT: PANIC: segmentation violation at 0x804ce63(! \
sleeping for 30 seconds.
-=-
Then in 30 secs the last line (INIT: PANIC:) prints
again and on and on...
Please offer input ASAP... Need to get this install done.

PS: please no suggestions to use newer hardware or
a later version of Slackware, I'm stuck with using
what I have at the moment... Thanks :)
