Johnny,

If your DSL is PPPoE like mine, I used the free package from Roaring
Penguin:

   Linkname: Roaring Penguin Software (PPPoE)
   URL: http://roaringpenguin.luky.org/pppoe/

I am now using an open source firewall called IPCop that runs on its
own hardware and plug my other machines into a local LAN.
