You could use the Dlink as a switch and dhcp server.
Then turn off the dhcp on the Linksys and the Dlink will give out IP 
addresses instead.
Just look and see if it has Address Reservation in it's configuration 
settings first.
I always use old routers as switches especially if they are 12V.
