[Ham-Computers] 8-Port Router-Switch Recommendation Needed

I need to buy a new Ethernet Router/Switch to replace the decade+ old one
that is currently in service.  Aside from all the usual bells and whistles,
it needs to be able to be told to assign a specific IP Address (IPv4) to a
specific computer, not just the next one up in the bank of 50.  Reason for
the requirement is that my Xerox 7855 when scanning to file has to know the
IP address of the computer where the file repository is located.  The trick
that worked for years up through Windows XP of setting the network card
temporarily to static with the known address and then setting it back to
dynamic whereupon the DNS server in the router gave the workstation back the
same address that I had temporarily written does not work with Windows 10.
