Imaging, AKA Wang Imaging, Kodak Imaging, Imaging for Windows (not to be
confused with the product of the same name from Microsoft) shipped with
Windows NT and Windows 2000 and maybe 98 as the default TIF viewer and editor. XP
and later shipped with something from Microsoft that doesn't work. As best
I can recall, around the time that Microsoft switched to their own product,
Kodak sold it to a European company named EI Stream. I think that I
bought the Version 2.8 that I currently use from them. They either sold it or
changed their name to Global 360 which was apparently in the UK. One of them,
probably the latter, came out with Version 4.0, which AFAIK may have been
the final revision.
Global 360 still has a functioning web site which let me place an order for
two copies which turned out to be handled through Digital River. That was
on 21 August. But about a day later, I received an email notice that the CD
(or DVD) was out of stock, and nothing since. An email that I sent to
Global 360 has not been answered.
Does anyone have any knowledge as to what might have happened to Global
360?
Does anyone have or know of anyone who has a copy of V4.0?
I did some searches on eBay for Imaging 4.0, Imaging for Windows 4.0 and
for Global 360 but got no useful hits.
