[Ham-Computers] Transmission of 4800 baud data

Hello,

I have a friend that wants to take 4800 baud TTL data and transmit it over a radio link and the receive..demodulate and display the data at a remote site. He has a transmitter at 433 MHz which is amplitude modulated. This data is from a GPS receiver.

Can he do that and how? Thanks!
