I found the equipment on E-bay for about $25.00 THANK YOU guys for your knowledge sharing. I am age 72 and still exploring electronics. Chasin UFOs etc

I'm not a digital expert but my research shows that you need some 
hardware to make this happen, in addition to software. 

There's some free open source software available for Win and linux.  I 
don't remember names but you can do a search.
