Would you have to get software for that. Sorry Im not up to grade on the subject but I am well versed on computers BTW what do you know about the blind guy thats on the group

The cheapest way is to but a USB DVB-T TV receiver for $20 and build an up converter. The right DVB-T receiver used as an SDR will cover 64 to 1700 MHz. Then an up converter is used for HF reception.
