Bet your money its 32 bit on older O/s If you look under SYSTEM in your control panel it will tell you all the tech info you need PRINT IT OUT !  Have you done a CLEAN UP and Defrag on you r machine monthly. Also look at the ration of EMPTY space oon your hard drive  Never go past 80% 
used. XP no longer supported by Microsoft No more patches or upgrades.

I think if you have system32 files its 32bit...maybe if its 64 bit it will have system64 files????
