[Ham-Computers] Black Ice Issue

Hi All,
Not too long ago the blind Magician here vanished some files accidentally.
All because of something call root kits. Not available at your formerly
friendly Radio Shack store!
AVG 2012 has a flaw, probably more than one! I am running XP Home Edition
that was installed in 2005. AVG 2012 sees my old files as potentially
malicious and tags them as root kits. When this happened the makers of AVG
had not yet announced the flaw in AVG that caused this!
I was given several choices as to what I wanted to do about this nasty
threat. I could let AVG try to 'heal' them, delete them or delete them if
AVG could not fix them. Being rational, and as it turned out, stupid!, I
elected to delete them if AVG could not fix/heal them. It erased five files,
all with the imaginary root kits. One knocked out my synthetic speech, so I
could not longer use the computer!
I got a local computer store to fix the missing file for JAWS For Windows,
the screen reading software. But they somehow failed to spot the missing
file for the software firewall known as Black Ice.
Everytime I boot up this computer I get an error message about a missing
'black ice.exe' file. I would very much like to take a propane blow torch to
the "Black Ice" and convert it into muddy water! Can one of you tell me how
to recover the missing file?
The proper name is: blackice v3.6coq.exe
Thanks so much!
