[Ham-Computers] Blind Dude Needs Assistance!

Yes, it is I, the blind wonder with another computer mystery. Like how do I 
enable the auto-start function of the CD/DVD read/write device?

A well meaning friend who configured this Compaq system for me turned the 
auto-start function off so that I would not accidentally start a CD. I 
guess! In any event, I want it to play the CD or DVD I insert without me 
having to manually start them.

This is Windows XP Home Edition.
