[Ham-Computers] Restoring a File Not in the Recycle Bin

I'm running Win XP, and the file I deleted is an image file, I guess 
that's what it would be called.  It's not a picture image, but an 
image of the C: drive created by Terabyte Image for DOS. More 
familiar applications used for the same purpose are Norton Ghost and 
Acronis True Image.

I assume you are talking about using System Restore which only works 
on the C drive.  I have an extended partition containing a number of 
logical partition, one of which contains the image I deleted.
