[Ham-Computers] Restoring a File Not in the Recycle Bin

Thanks, Jeff and Paul, for the tip.
I attempted to use Photo Recovery, but have not figured out a method
to select only the file I deleted. I thought I could specify the
name, but it appears that Photo Recovery processes the entire drive
and I need adequate space on another drive to save all data from the
problem drive. Am I correct? I could resolve this issue by using an
external drive; does this approach seem reasonable? I have Photo
Recovery on a flash drive, and it appears that I could use the flash
drive (but there isn't adequate space).

I experimented with the Data Recovery program, but it appears data is
recovered by fixing problems with the drive, not working with the problem file.
