[Ham-Computers] A Good Color Printer

Duane,
Somewhat over a year ago I replaced my old Laserjet with a HP Officejet
Pro 8500 Premier. This printer comes in various versions from basic to
the Top-Line version having two paper trays etc (for different sized
paper). That is the one I bought.
I really like it as it can be connected via USB Port, Ethernet or
Wireless Network (I use the wireless for convenience). It is also a
scanner, color copier, fax etc. What I liked about it is the high
quality printing (if you use good paper), and the oversized ink
cartridges (4, black, yellow, blue and red). The cartridges are
available in two capacities, it's cheaper to use the high capacity
ones. It has a lot of whips and bells that I don't use (such as
Internet printing etc). It also has a LCD touch screen to control
functions, but can also be controlled from the connected computer. .
One of the primary reasons I chose it is that it ties into my home
network (wirelessly) and can thus be used by any of the three computers
here. It wasn't cheap and certainly isn't a "throw-away" printer.
Only catch is, I'm not sure how user friendly it might be for a blind
person, perhaps others could comment.
