[Ham-Computers] Running a DOS Program

Hello John,

For what it is worth, I am a former programmer. I wrote code for Texas
Instruments and IBM in the eighties and nineties. Some of my work appeared
in PC Magazine, as well as numerous corporate newsletters. Naturally the
latter paid nothing! Figures, heh?

I wrote the first, possibly the only, full featured DOS word processing
program. I was told by the engineers at IBM that it was impossible, and that
is all the old blind dude had to hear to arouse my sense of challenge! It
took me a year to write the code, test it for bugs, fix the ones I found and
get it spit polished to the point that it satisfied me. I do not think there
is anyone more fussy then a computer programmer!

So if I can help someone out there in the digital world with a DOS issue, I
would be happy to do so.
