In order for the two devices to connect to each other, you will need a
wireless router connected to the PC.  You will then use the network setup
facility in Windows 7 to create a local area network.  The PC will provide
a "network key," or set of numbers/letters, that the tablet will have to
enter once in order to gain access to the LAN.  This is dead easy with W7,
but also possible with XP with a little more effort.
