[Ham-Computers] Odd-Ball SPAM - Telemarketing Problem

In the past week, I have been getting a number to telemarketing
calls, all as a follow-up to an email I presumably sent them. One
was from a group that supplied some type of equipment to
diabetics, another from an RV Park, etc. I explained that I was
not a diabetic, etc.....and it was a waste of my time and theirs and
asked them of them if they could give me the email address used when
the request was made. Some helped me.
One gave me a customer service number where my call was not returned,
but the other two others gave me meocutduoi at mail.com. I looked up
mail.com, and it appears to be a free email service, and the
meocutduoi at mail.com email address was currently assigned.
I don't have a listed phone number, so it would be easy for someone
to get my name and address, but I don't see any reason for anyone to
make cold calls to limited groups like diabetics.
Maybe it's just a new wrinkle for telemarketers, I inadvertently got
on a new sucker list, or ??? Have any of you had the same issue? I
normally get plenty of telemarketing calls and avoid most of them by
hanging up if nobody speaks in a few seconds.
Jim
