Thanks for the reply and info.

I just tried the Thunderbird but I was unable to import the OE6 address 
book; I got error messages that OE6 WAB is not compatible with Win7!

I am a old fart and I think my biggest problem is that I am so used to XP 
that it is difficult to master a new OP system.

I am going to search for a newer version of Outlook and see if I can get 
that to work. . . .
