[Ham-Computers] Cleaning Up Old Mail

.DBX files are the database files that Outlook Express uses.  If you delete 
them, you lose all that is in that folder.  Deleted Items is considered a 
system file and if you delete it, it will be regenerated the next time you 
open Outlook Express.  Personal folders are not system files, if you delete 
them, they are gone as is all that is in them.

Often, outlook express will malfunction and even though you empty your 
deleted items folder, it can still take up many megabytes of reported space. 
I ran into this when this folder was around 500 MB.  I emptied it, my 
computer still reported 500MB used.  I deleted the .dbx file and gained the 
space, windows put the folder back and all is well.  It's really MUCH easier 
to delete this particular .dbx file than expect outlook express to clean it 
out effectively.
