[Ham-Computers] New router problems

Hello to all,
I recently replaced a non functioning Linksys WRT 150N router with a new
Cisco Valet M10. Since then, I have had very, very slow internet access on
two laptops in different areas of the house, that were not a problem with
the old working router. I am on a Wildblue.net internet satellite system.
The desktop computer attached to the satellite modem and thus the Valet has
good internet access time, unlike the laptops. Am I wrong in thinking that
this indicates a router problem? The Cisco tech people have had me change
some parameters of the Valet with little or no improvements. Can anyone
advise me if I need to replace the Valet M10 two antenna router with a three
antenna Valet M20 or another manufacturer's router. Or should I consider
some sort of Wireless N Range Extender? This is really maddening. Any
advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Dean, WB0P
