Brian, I read your note, then the comments from Jeff and Dan. Then I used one of my Yahoo! accounts with Firefox 3.6. I think that's what is happening is that if you have Firefox 3.6 configured at Privacy to dump everything each time you close Firefox, or each time you select Tools/Clear Recent History with Firefox open, Firefox is doing what you want it to do. But then, when you go back into your Yahoo! home page, some or all of the cookies are rewritten as a function of you opening your home page.
What I found was that when I used Yahoo!, then closed Firefox, then went back into Windows Explorer, no cookies were present.
But when I again opened Yahoo!, and took a look in Windows Explorer, there some of them were.
If you want to compare Firefox 3.6 settings, contact me direct.
John

I know this is not rocket science, but when I delete cookies in Firefox, for
whatever reason it won't delete all of them.
After it says that they have been deleted I go back to Yahoo, which is my
home page, I type in something I know was there before and its like it won't
delete it.
Any suggestions on what I might be doing wrong, or what I need to do right.
Brian
