"I am running an old version of office, I think it's either office 2000 or 
2001. On occasions it will not open new office files. Where can I download a 
fix so it's compatable? Windows update says I am ok....People running new 
verions of office send me files and they will not open, you know of a fix 
without spending $500 for new office software? I just cannot justify 
spending the money when for personal letter writing it works as is. Any 
ideas?"
