[Ham-Computers] Compaq server

Duane,
I checked the thrift stores around here today. No luck. In fact, while
they used to be a good place to "dump off" vintage computer stuff, most of
them aren't taking old computer gear anymore (unless it's very recent
models) because if they don't sell it, they have to pay to get rid of it.
With California's laws concerning disposing of old electronic equipment, you
can't just toss it in the garbage can anymore, but have to pay to "recycle"
it. What a scam! About once a year there a recycle company comes to town
that will allow you to "drop off" old computers, TVs etc "for free". . .

You might put out a "want" on the QTH.net for sale list.
