I can remember abt 5 yrs ago, I was a firm Norton AV user and it got the
same way, slowed my machine down, thats when I went to AVG.
I can remember maybe 2 yrs roughly, the one version of AVG I had was slowing
the machine down, and if I remember correctly I contacted AVG and asked them
what had happened, I never got a reply, but the next update that came out,
the update seemed to speed things up.
