[Ham-Computers] Win XP needed

I have a copy of Win XP Professional which I purchased.  Now I  have lost
the CD Key.

(The 25 alpha numeric characters needed to install the software.)  I also
have a 

Toshiba laptop with XP on it but someone either picked up many viruses or
decided

to do some programming.  At any rate the operating system is hosed.  

 

Is there a copy of XP pro out there for sale, not bootlegged, at a
reasonable price?

Is there a solution to my CD key problem that would allow me to use my XP
disk to

reinstall the  operating system?

 

Any assistance is appreciated.
