[Ham-Computers] HYPERLINKING WITH EXCEL

Yeah, I have no idea what version of Excel that function first appeared in. I have an MSDN subscription because of my work, so I have latest and greatest of everything. I have to be careful with some things - doing "save as... earlier version" or my friends can't open files I create.
Glad it got you going.

Hi Jay,
It works!
Now for the details... I tried it on my spreadsheet, and it didn't
work. I kept getting an HTTP/1.0 404 error message. I kept tweaking
things, hoping for results, but nothing. Then I had a breakthrough
idea... maybe my old Excel '97 just didn't have that capability (I
should have mentioned that in my original post). So I switched to the
Open Office Spreadsheet, and tried your suggestion again. And it
works great! I'm sure the newer (than 1997) versions of Excel would
work also.
Now I can click on the cell next to the callsign on my spreadsheet,
and find the address for that person on QRZ. Really slick!
Thanks very much for showing me (and probably some others on the List)
how to do that.
