[Ham-Computers] Adding another Hard drive

Hi Brian:  Dell Computers typically use Cable Select instead of 
Master/Slave.  Another thought for backing up - use an external drive 
instead of adding an internal drive.  It is connected to your computer 
using a USB port.  Transferring data is slower than with an internal 
drive, but your data is safe if the computer fails.
