Value is objective. For example, today I bought a large IBM system,
probably cost around $10K. A fellow, admiring my puchase in awe, asked "Do
you know what that is worth???"
I replied "Yes, two dollars and fifty cents, I beat the seller down from
five and he threw in a new IBM PS/2 system".
In another example, an ex-intern had been given six flat screen monitors
with touch-screens. I asked if I could have one, he also asked "Do you know
what these are worth?". I replied "Yes, you got six for free, any given
unit is worth one-sixth of nothing".

Subject: [Ham-Computers] Value of Used laptop
: Hello all, a while back I stumbled across a website where you could put in
: all the "Specs" for a computer and it would give you a good estimate of
what
: a used laptop or desktop would sell for.
:
: I thought the site in my Favorites but I guess I didnt.
:
: Anybody know of that site or any site similar to it.
:
: Thanks,
: Brian
