[Ham-Computers] BLUE PICTURES IN WORD & POWERPOINT

Hello to the group.

I've had this problem for some time now, and haven't been able to fix
it so I'm asking for some help.

In both Microsoft Word 97 and PowerPoint 97, whenever I insert a
picture from a file, the image color is blue instead of whatever the
colors were originally (I'm running Windows XP on my PC).  I have MS
Word97 and PowerPoint97 on my laptop (running Windows 2000), and I
don't have that problem.  If I use Open Office, there is no problem
either.  So it's confined to Word97 and PowerPoint97 on my PC.

I've Uninstalled and Installed both programs (from my Office 97 CD)
several times, but the problem persists.  Could it possibly be in one
of the many dll's (that don't get uninstalled)?

I'd appreciate any suggestions you might have to fix this irritating problem.
