GM Johnny,

Glad to have the HP up and running on XP. However, there seems to be some problems.
In the installation, the process stopped and asked that the disk CD2 be inserted - my son was helping me
and actually doing the installation. Only one disk was enclosed so my son went on with the remainder of the
installation. I am just wondering if whatever is on CD2 is needed.
Amoung other problems is the fact that it won't go to an address altho the "hand" is clicked on the address
and the "View" has no efffect on the size of the font. The font is very small and doesn't change.

I have a hearing problem Johnny so I am hesitant to try to get information via voice. Deaf in one ear and some
unlevel response in the other ear. I have Vonage phone service via internet - unlimited calling US and Canada, so
long distance calling is no problem but if I receive a series of instructions by voice, I tend to forget some!
Take care, other. If you have any info that would help this situation, at your convenience
please send via Email.

    Hi Robert,

Do you know of anyone selling Windows 2000 operating system?
With the long drawn out "fiasco" I have been through with my Dell Dimension 4100, circa 2005, I am still not able to get the
darn program on the internet. I loaded a copy sent to me by a list member. It loaded fine. Even installed my HP Deskjet 722C
printer software and printed out a test sheet which came out fine. But, a technician from my ISP could not get it on the
internet. I suspect because that has something to do with licensing? The tech seems to be new and eager to learn so I
    am still in a delimma!
I am so frustrated that I am willing to buy a new copy of Win 2000 (if it doesn't cost an arm and a leg!) so I can get this darn
machine working properly on the internet. It came with Win ME installed which has just about made an old man of me, tho'
I am only 91. Take care,
